Paris finish and Tour de France Package Info
The LONDON-PARIS by Tour de France finish
Rolling into Paris as one giant peloton with rolling closed roads, is the highlight for most road riders. For our gravel grinders it’s the last section along the protected cycle path on the Seine as the Eiffel Tower looms closer which is the icing on the cake.
For those who’s friends and families are joining them at the finish they can welcome you at the finish line here:
Location: Place du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre
What3words address: shadows.piles.weaned
Peloton estimated arrival time:
Gravel: 16:00
Road: 16:40
Any changes to the finish location or time will be communicated via the Hotchillee companion app, so please make sure you have downloaded this.

Getting from the finish line to Le Meridien Etoile hotel and what to do with your bike
IF YOU’RE NOT RIDING THE TOUR DE FRANCE EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING DAY
It’s really important that your bike is put on the Luton vans which are going back to the UK. Mechanics will be on hand to help you remove your pedals (pedals are removed to minimise the risk of damage during transit). You will also need to remove water bottles and head units.
Once you’ve handed over your bike you will take a coach to the hotel.
If you are not riding the Tour de France experience, and not returning to the UK with your bike you will need to ride to the hotel from the finish. There will be a small group supported by the Ride Captains riding back to the hotel if you prefer not to ride solo.
If you have asked us to transport your bike box to Paris it will be at the hotel waiting for you with your luggage.
The hotel address is: Le Meridien Etoile, 81 Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr, 75848 Cedex 17, 75017 Paris, France
What3words address: gala.lift.declining
IF YOU ARE RIDING THE TOUR DE FRANCE EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING DAY
Bikes staying in Paris for the Tour de France Experience “Riding the Closed course” need to be put on a separate van at the finish line. These will be taken to a secure parking area over night and you will not see it again until you arrive at Versailles. Please ensure that you remove your water bottles and head unit as you will not have access to these until you arrive at the start line where there will be nowhere to fill them.
Once you’ve handed over your bike you will take a coach to the hotel.
The above applies to both road and gravel riders.
Saturday evening: Celebration drinks
Dinner is at leisure and since Paris is the city that never sleeps, we recommend that you book well in advance a restaurant of your choice.
The celebration reception is 20:00 at the privatised Canadian Embassy Pub next door to Le Meridien.
It’s a relaxed affair, so dress code is casual (medals are considered a fashion accessory). You will need a wrist band for entry which will be given to you with your hotel room key in Paris.
Riders who have purchased the non-rider packages or additional tickets, you’ll be given extra wristbands.
Sunday afternoon: Ride the closed Tour de France course through Paris
06:30 - breakfast available at the hotel
Great news! The ASO have adjusted the programme for tomorrow’s Tour de France Experience Ride. Now, you no longer need to board a coach to the start line. Here’s what we’re going to do instead…
At 13:00 (as the weather is due to brighten up), we’ll meet in front of the hotel, in our official Tour de France yellow jerseys, where our bikes will be waiting for us.
Here’s the exciting part… we will be lead from right outside the hotel front door and through Paris by the official Tour de France race escort including lead car and motorbike outriders. This never happens!
Once at the Champs-Elysées, our ride will take place later than planned as the Tour have now given us the prime spot, closer to the arrival time of the riders, when more crowds will be waiting! We’ll ride the iconic Louvre Courtyard as well as the famous Champs-Elysées!
Confirmed timings:
13:00: Meet in front of the event hotel in full cycling kit
13:15: Tour de France escort through central Paris
14:00: Ride the closed course
Riders will need to make their own way back from the finish at Place de la Concorde to the hotel. It’s REALLY important that anyone whose bike we are transporting back to the UK rides straight back (no pub stops) as we need to pack your bike and hit the road.
A reminder of the hotel address is: Le Meridien Etoile, 81 Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr, 75848 Cedex 17, 75017 Paris, France
What3words address: gala.lift.declining
Enjoy the lie in!
Sunday afternoon: Watching the Tour de France
All LONDON-PARIS participants can watch the Tour de France from the side of the road. From the hotel it’s a 1.2km walk to the Arc de Triomphe, although you will probably find a quieter part of the route if you prefer not to get your elbows out!
Here is a link to the official Tour de France timings to help you plan your day.
