It’s going to be a long day in the saddle, and LifeJacket want to help protect you from harmful UVA and UVB rays, so you can get on with enjoying your epic gravel adventure.
There will be FREE LifeJacket sunscreen at sign-on in the Festival Fort and at the feeding stations along both the 215 km and 135 km routes.
Try out some of the very best sun protection products available, and chat to our friends at LifeJacket to learn more about the importance of applying the right dose and keeping your skin protected all year round.
DERMATOLOGIST ON SITE
At the LifeJacket stand, the team will have a UV camera so you can take a deeper look at your skin, check out any skin damage and see how SPF products work.
And because skin checking is so important, LifeJacket are also bringing a dermatologist with them on Friday from 2pm. Let a professional take a look at any marks or moles you might be worried about. LifeJacket have got your back!
LIFEJACKET'S STORY
“Our story began with personal setback. We were three healthy young men, who thought we were indestructible. But then, several of our friends – all healthy and in their thirties – were hit by cancer. One of them was Jono, our co-founder.
Developed with industry experts, our high performance moisturisers, wash bars, sunscreens and UPF 50+ apparel are now used by pro cyclists and other athletes, Olympians, military personnel and our epic team of brand ambassadors. Our skincare is non-greasy, lightweight, suitable for sensitive skin and won’t come off through sweat or sting your eyes.
We look forward to seeing you at the Festival Fort for Ekoi Stone Circle. It promises to be an unforgettable event and we can’t wait to share the Summer Solstice with you. For more information about the event, click the link below. Happy trails.
