With free sun protection products and a dermatologist on site, LifeJacket are bringing their A-Game to Ekoi Stone Circle 2023.

PROTECT YOURSELF WITH LIFEJACKET

We’ve partnered with UK’s most exiting skincare brand, LifeJacket Skin Protection, , to help keep your skin-safe at Ekoi Stone Circle. It’s going to be a long day in the saddle, and LifeJacket want to help protect you from harmful UVA and UVB rays, so you can get on with enjoying your epic gravel adventure.

There will be FREE LifeJacket sunscreen at sign-on in the Festival Fort and at the feeding stations along both the 215 km and 135 km routes.

Try out some of the very best sun protection products available, and chat to our friends at LifeJacket to learn more about the importance of applying the right dose and keeping your skin protected all year round.

DERMATOLOGIST ON SITE

At the LifeJacket stand, the team will have a UV camera so you can take a deeper look at your skin, check out any skin damage and see how SPF products work.

And because skin checking is so important, LifeJacket are also bringing a dermatologist with them on Friday from 2pm. Let a professional take a look at any marks or moles you might be worried about. LifeJacket have got your back!

LIFEJACKET'S STORY

“Our story began with personal setback. We were three healthy young men, who thought we were indestructible. But then, several of our friends – all healthy and in their thirties – were hit by cancer. One of them was Jono, our co-founder.

During this time, we learnt that skin cancer - the world’s most common cancer - has doubled since the 90s and is set to double again over the next 20 years. It’s also 90% preventable!

This inspired us to create LifeJacket with the single vision of halting the increase in skin cancer.

Your skin is your body’s largest organ and one of its main jobs is to protect you from the outside world. If your skin barrier becomes compromised, so do you. The thing is, every day of the year, things like UV, harsh weather, pollution, smoke, dry or hot air and stress attack and damage your skin.
