Participants riding in Groups 1 can compete for Leaders Jerseys and Age Category Awards in flagged race sections covering sprinting, climbing and overall time (general classification).
The rest of the day riders enjoy tempo group riding in a fully supported environment, with ample opportunity to get to know their fellow riders. Riders can compete for any jersey across the Stages, but can only win one classification overall - choose according to your ability! Riders also have the chance to take place in the Kalas Best Team Competition and this year we have introduced a new award … the Ride Captain’s Stage Heroes…

Last year we have introduced a new daily award, the Ride Captain’s Stage Heroes! Each day the HotChillee Ride Captains will select one female and one male rider from their group who has stood out. It will not be based on their athletic performance, but on their contribution to group moral, support shown to other riders, or generally making the day more awesome.
