We’re excited to announce the launch of our most challenging climbing event yet, taking place in the beautiful cycling mecca of the Pyrenees.
We know that whilst some of you will be tracking Strava segments not everyone is interested in being the first up the climbs, so we help everyone get there in a fully supported environment and, more importantly, make some new friends along the way.
Places are limited to 60 entrants. Riders will be timed at an ITT Prologue on the first day and seeded into one of three speed groups for the remainder of the event.
Each speed group will be supported by the HotChillee Ride Captains and followed by a support vehicle and a mechanic. A paramedic will also be roaming the route in radio contact with the HotChillee Ride Captains who will be on hand to assist with any support, moral boosting or (for some!) a little push here and there. Carefully selected lunches will be arranged each day where you will find one of our professional sports therapists to help you on your way!
At the end of the day you can hand your bike to our mechanics (if there are any issues), otherwise head straight to the therapists before sampling the excellent wines and regional cuisine.
You will spend the first two nights in the town of Bagnères-de-Luchon before riding to the picturesque spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre where your bags (and your bike box) will have been transferred for you. What could be easier!
