COVID-19 UPDATE

HotChillee have postponed all 2020 multi-day events. All rider have been contacted directly by email. If you have any questions about your event entry or our COVID-19 position please contact [email protected].

Girona Rendezvous - April 2020

With FCO advice against all but essential travel to Spain we were not able to hold the Girona Rendezvous in 2020. HotChillee CC members have been contacted and offered the option to defer their entry free of charge to 2021, or transfer their entry as a credit towards another HotChillee event in 2021.

Alpine Challenge - June 2020

We have decided not to hold the event in 2020, running it instead at the same time in 2021. Riders have been contacted and offered the option to defer their entry to 2021 or to use their entry as credit on another HotChillee event in 2021.

LONDON-PARIS - July 2020

Following the French Government’s announcement that no large scale public events will be permitted before mid-July, we have made the decision not to hold the HotChillee LONDON-PARIS in 2020. So that we can provide riders with certainty we have decided not to try and reschedule the event this year, and instead to move it to 2021. Riders have been contacted and offered the option to defer their entry to 2021, or transfer their entry as credit towards another HotChillee event in 2021.

Suisse Gravel Explorer - September 2020

Despite the recent announcement by the UK Government of an air bridge between England and Switzerland the HotChillee events team have concluded there is too much uncertainty around a second wave to continue with the event as planned. We would also not be able to guarantee compliance with the social distancing guidance, especially when participants are off the bike. We feel it would not be possible to deliver the event to the excellent standard our clients would expect on a HotChillee event.

Riders have been contacted and offered the option to defer their entry to 2021, or transfer their entry as credit towards another HotChillee event in 2021.

Rainmaker RollerCoaster - October 2020

The HotChillee events have been in regular contact with the Western Cape Government and regional Tourist Boards and very much hoping that by October the event would be able to take place.

Sadly, current projections are that the infection rate will peak in Cape Town during September/October, as well as uncertainty around when the visa restrictions for international riders entering South Africa will be lifted. We have therefore decided not to hold the event in 2020, running it instead at the same time next year, from 2 - 9 October 2021. Riders have been contacted and offered the option to defer their entry to 2021, or transfer their entry as credit towards another HotChillee event in 2021.
